I grew up in Streetsboro, OH. I'm married to my husband, Mayur. We have two children - Nayan, 25, is in medical school to be a surgeon, and Katie, 23, who is in the Peace Corps and lives in the Dominican Republic. I earned my medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA. I completed my pediatrics residency at Akron Children's Hospital. I am also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
